She's dead!!

Met some horrible car accident and died on 28 Jan.

Such a pity and it really really reminds me again that ... life is precious and you never know what will happen next ~ 今天不知明天事. Really we should treasure what we have now, stay happy, healthy and be careful!!

Camcorder

Been thinking of getting a camcorder for the longest time ever ... in fact even before YC was born. Kept holding it back until I read the camcorder review in the Simply Her magazine ... cant tahan any longer ... so I went to yahoo auction to try my luck on the model that they strongly recommened ... Canon DC 22

Guess what ... someone was selling hahahahhahaha its a brand new one that he won in his company D&D (lucky guy ar ... the best prize I won so far is a miserable $60 Taka voucher) in Dec 06. So the warranty is valid until Dec 07 ... not too bad ar!! In fact, he siad that he havent even open the camcorder before. All he did was to check the warranty card hiak hiak

So after much negoitation we settle for $920!! Well it looked like a steal to me cos the lowest lowest quote that I received was $1060 and the number of items for the free gift is slightly less. And the best part was ~ he allowed me to use my taka vouchers to pay off a portion of the $920! (KS also won $100 taka voucher from his company's family day) so we just had to pay $760 cash hiak hiak

Now I can film down our CNY reunion dinner (Oh yar, this yr its at the Sakura Buffet place with ALL my aunties, so happening!!!), all the visitings and many more outings to come.

Irritating or WHAT???

What a Monday .... am full of anger and frustration now!! F**k man (pardon my language but I am really mad)

Last night, I put YC on the bed to watch his fav DVD and usually he will just sit still and watch the show. So I quickly went to take my shower and brush my teeth. Little did I guess that he enjoyed the show so much that he stood on the bed and dance!!!! So that little boy just danced himself off the bed and flat on the floor *tsk tsk* terrible mummy right ... but after I carried him up *with a toothbrush in my mouth* and pat pat him ... he stopped crying in 2mins and continued to watch his DVD. So I guess he is alright, except with a big bump on his forehead.

However, I think physically he is ok but he must have gotten q a scare cos last night he screamed in his sleep ~ maybe he dreamt that he fell off the bed *again* and this morning super sticky lar!! Make a scene when I leave him with the Dad and refuse to let me out of his sight. So when I put on his shoes for him and told him that we are ready to go, he refuse to move his butt off my lap. No choice, I had to just put him on the floor so that I can go and wear MY own shoes and (since he refuse to stand) drag him out of the house. I thought that he would just stand and wait for me to close the door. Instead, the drama king just collapse himself on the floor and scream + cry. So irritating right!! Early on a Monday morning ....

When we reached my mum's place, he refuse to say bye bye to me ~ horrible boy!!!

Ok nevermind about that cos afterall he is my son and we will sure have our differences lar!

Now in the office, suddenly received a higher order to submit one of the items under my purview as a Quest project (commonly known as WITs) ... ok lar submit as project then submit lor ... 3 page report only mar!!

But no lor ... the higher order wants us to submit as a report for this National Competition and she wants us to clinch a STAR ... not Silver or Gold ... a STAR!!!! Really I am now boiling blood and seeing STARS!!!! And the deadline is end of January ... allo today already 22 Jan and I got a feeling that I will be the ONE & ONLY ONE doing this report lar ...

IRRITATING or WHAT!!! And for record ... I barely steeped into the office for 1hr yet. Damn shi* lar ...

Irony isnt it?

Have stopped my juicing reigmen cos I couldnt stand the constant vomiting anymore!! Drank 2 day of miso soup and have started eating congee.

The recovery stage came too fast and furious and I couldnt cope with it at all. And truely it brought back the terrible experience and memories of my pregnancy days. Now I can only cross my finger that through the massage, I can slowly remove those toxin and blockages for my gastric and liver area. Honestly, I cant imagine going thr the 9mths with all those feelings!

Its such an irony isnt it? I started the reigmen with the thought of shedding some weight and de-toxing my body. But the moment the de-tox process started, I threw in my towel and ran for the exit almost immediately.

Wondered if I should have just bite the bullet and go through the whole process but honestly I thought that I was going to die as a hungry ghost =p

So I decided to listen to my heart and just stop the whole process. Now I still feel that my stomach is abit bloated and get heart burn once in a while (when I burp). Hopefully these will go off real soon.

Friends ... my verdict is: The juicing and massage work. But when you put them together, must be prepared for the recovery to be fast and furious!!

8th day ... can I still go on?

Today is the 8th day of my juicing regimen, have lost approx 4kg. Can feel that my pants are looser =)

Went for my lymphatic massage on Monday and it was HELLLLLLLLLL ... v painful lar!! Jade (the therapatise) was pressing on those nobes and it was PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN ... she said that the nobes at my gastric and liver area are blocked hence the pain. And its actually an improvement cos the last round when she massage for me ... I didnt feel anything! If its blocked and I dun feel anything, it means that the nobe is badly 'damaged'! So I just had to bear with it while she try to unblock those nobes

And she mentioned that I got lots of wind in my gastric which I already know. While she was massaging that area, I was burrrrrping non stop (so embrassing) but Jade told me to just go ahead to burp so that the wind can find an outlet to be released.

So the massage left me going home in pain and lots of worries lar cos there were like at least 10 nobes that were blocked and I kept burping non stop.

Yesterday was HORRIBLE!! Besides the constant burping, I could feel that my whole stomach was very bloated and I started to feel... nausea *faint* in the evening machiam I was pregnant like that!! And to make things worse, the horrible YC kept kicking my stomach (which was damn painful) when I was trying to make him zzz

Imagine painful stomach + constant burping + abit of heart burn + KICKING ... I ended up vomiting and surprisingly, I felt so much better after that. I guess I must have vomited out those excess acid which were creating such a havoc in my body!!

As far as I know, these are the stuff that one will go through while juicing cos your body is repairing itself and all the hidden medical condition will surface during this period ~ the recovery period!

But its such a torture really!! Not sure if I can tahan anymore ... ... just crossing my finger that the recovery stage will pass by real fast lar ... hope that I can still go on for just another 6 more days to make it 14 days k

Special Feature: Ah Guang

We got to know each other from a trip to Nepal (sh*t should have gone to Europe to siam him hiak hiak) and got together soon after the trip. Weathered through thick and thin, ups and down before we settled down in 2004 and before I was warmed up to be known as Mrs Ang ... I found myself to be on the way to be a Mummy ~ see how 'in love' we are hiak hiak

Ok on a more serious note, Ah Guang had been a great hubby to date with lots of room for improvment (which I am sure I have the same size of room as he has!). Here are the great part:

1. Fun and easy going

2. Give in to me most of the time unless its the last seat on the MJ table!#$%$%$^*&(()*^*&.

3. Gives me alot of freedom and support in whatever I do

On for the improvement part ... ... guess he knows already lar cos those are the stuff that we usually fight about. So I shant disclose too much here (must give him facccccccccceeeeeeeee mar!)

Here are my wishes for Ah Guang

1. Strike Toto, 4D and win big big for all your soccer matches and MJ (but best is dun bet on soccer any more lar!!)

2. Pass your IPPT

3. Stay healthy, 'charming' and happy always

To the 2 most important man in my life ...

Started my Jucing Regimen

Have started my juicing regimen on 3 Jan ... ar first day was so tough. Cant get use to drinking the mix, cant stand the taste and constantly feeling hungy!!

Tell myself cant give up lar!! Esp after Grace showed me the photo that she took for me on my wedding day on her HP. I was like ~ hur I was so skinny mer? I tot I was still q fat at my wedding =p so MUST MUST MUST endure lar!!

Today started to get accustomised already heehee even went for lunch with Ms Lam and she was eating the Nasi Lemak while I was there happily drinking my carrot juice =) so proud of myself man!!

Thank goodness that KS and my mum are very supportive and my colleagues too! Everyone just give me their encouragement. THANKS pals!! Really hope to regain back to my original weight soon =)

My Holiday ...

Ok now that I am back to work ... have some time to blog hiak hiak ~ get the link??

Anyway ... had a great xmas and new year break this time. Brought MY mummy to Vivo City, Robinson and IMM cos these are the places that MY daddy will never bring her lor cos MY daddy is damn bloddy MAN lar ... dun like to shop one hiak hiak treated MY mummy to nice yummy food (so proud of myself)

Had gatherings after gatherings, managed to meet up with Ks's ex-colleagues (twice), my Uni Hostel frens, my JC frens and even my extended family (Mummy's side)!! Attempted to meet up with more friends but really no time lor ... next time k

This year's xmas was very holy compared to the past cos we went to church TWICE!! Once to watch a performance by a group of blind from Taiwan ~ they were so positive and they sound SO SO good!! and then to witness my sister's batispm ceremony. Know that its something that she had been looking forward to for so so so long and I am really very happy for her. (wyee *hugz*)

Then on xmas we actually attended a party organised by my sister for her crusade group and we ended up sitting down with them to sing xmas carols hahahahhahaaha really brought back memories of my younger days man!!

Such a holy xmas!!!

Spend new year's countdown with our regular MJ kakis! Cos we are all too lazy to go out to the countdown partys and squeeze with the 'foreign talents' on the roads. And where can we go with a 15mo right!! It was actually q fun at home cos they stopped the game at 11.50pm and at the stroke of 12am we shouted 'Happy New Year' and toast to the new year. YC was zzzzzing though =p

Had lunch with my parents on New Year and they brought us to this ulu place next to Maju camp for Zi Bao Ji (paper wrapped chicken ~ literal translation!!). The amazing thing abt that place is that they specialise in Zi Bao Ji and its v v expensive lar!! For 5 plates of noodles (like instant noodle), 20 pc of chicken (small pieces some more), a plate of vegetables, a plate of fried toufu and 6 glasses of drinks - $64.50!! My parents said that we use to visit this place when we were much younger but I had no recollection of this place at all =p

Ended my holiday with playing MJ with at my JC's fren's place heehee ... what other best way to end my long holiday?
