What did I do over the holiday?

Cant seem to load photos onto my son's blog for the last few nights ... so there arent much update over at his blog.

Today I wanted to steal some time to just do 1 post and I realise that I forgot to bring my thumbdrive *sob sob*

So what did I do over the weekend and Hari Raya ... played MJ heehee (lost money though), brought YC for his GUG and he loves it!! I was so proud of him hahahaha he was very at ease in the class and even fought for the best seat in the house (he sat right in front of the teacher!!).

He danced when there were music, made funny expressions when the teacher disturbed him by blowing wind into his face (they were singing a song about the sun, rain and wind), kept going up to Jane and make funny faces before running back to me heehee

Suddenly I feel that my boy has finally grown up and he is now forming his own character, own temperament and even his own preference!

We brought him for a stroll yesterday to Bishan Park. He was so happy when we let him run around on his own. He was looking at the grass, picking up leaves, looking at dogs and he had so much fun when we blew bubbles at him. He enjoyed it so much so that when we wanted to go home ... he made a fuss!!

So KS and I have decided that we should bring him outdoor more often and not just go shopping or play MJ all day long heehee (hopefully we are able to fulfil this little promise of ours to YC!)

Ok thats all for my holiday ... looking forward to my Nov holiday soon!! Not going anywhere but staying in Singapore to rot hahahaha (cos MY mummy is going somewhere!!) so if you are free and you want to spend sometime with me ... just give me a ring k

Tips for MRT Ride @ 8.30am

I wonder whats wrong with Singaporean? If they see that the cabin is already FULL, when I mean full - its means that I am already standing at the edge of the cabin, holding onto the metal railing for my dear life, WHY DO THEY STILL WANT TO SQUEEZE IN !@#$!#$@$%%$#$"!@

Can't they just walk a few steps down to the next cabin or the next next cabin or the last cabin of the MRT?? If they can run down the escaltor, I presume that there is nothing wrong with their legs right *angry*

Anyway, it happened for like ALL the 4 stations and I am quite sure that if my stares could kill, it would have killed many.

Nevermind, I tried my best to stand in the 20cm by 20cm space that I have managed to 'secure' for myself and look down before I start to 'kill' more

Then its time for me to drop off from the train and my gosh ... so angry!! There was this guy who was standing at the door area and he behaved as if he had superglue on his shoes. Didnt even move when people were getting off the train, I mean - just get out of people's way for that 2mins can anot?!!?

I was quite sure I said - 'move abit will die isit' when I walked pass him. Can you imagine how mad I was ...

Anyway just in case your are really know nuts about how to behave on the MRT at 8.30am, here are some tips:

1. If the cabin has less then 20cm by 20cm of space, move to the next cabin.
2. Tie up your LONG hair or pull it to the front, people dun enjoy staring and smelling your hair lor!!
3. Dun pretend to be sleeping/reading the papers/playing some crossword puzzle or sudoku (doing that doesnt make you look smart - only MORE stupid!) when you see a pregnant lady, mother carrying a baby, elderly folk, kids when they board the train, give your seat up to them!! 4. Always have your ezlink card on hand before you arrive at the gate, dun search for it only when you are there - dun create unncessary Q!
5. Train interval in the morning are approx 4min and less, if you cant find a cabin with 20cm by 20cm space. Wait for another 4mins, you wont be shot dead for being late for just 4mins!!

So Darn Rude!!

Was taking train to Plaza Sg for lunch today and as usual, many people alighted at the station. I was moving towards the escalator when I felt someone 'elbowed' me at my hip. I looked down and saw a little boy of around 5yr old in his PAP uniform. He raised him hand up to his chest level and use his elbow to push away anyone who is in his way.

I was q pissed to be elbowed so I stare at him and said:'You should be saying Excuse Me ok.'

His face turned black immediately and obviously his mother heard me telling HER son off. ( I was standing behind the boy and his mother on the escalator)

Mother: What did you do?
Boy: *Silent* (Black face)
Mother: *Silent* (Turn around to glance at me and then turn to look to the front)
Boy: *Silent* (Turn around to STARE at me)
Me: *Silent* (STARE BACK lar!!)

Reached the end of the escalator ride, the boy still continued to stare at me even though we were walking in different direction!! My gosh!!

Whats wrong you might ask? I mean since the mother heard me telling her son off and since her son refuse to tell her what he did, then she can ask me right? I would be glad to tell her what happened so that she can correct her son on the spot.

I am a strong believer of correcting the kid (young kid esp, maybe teenager need to give face hiak hiak) on the spot and not leave it until 100 days later then talk about it. Kids have very short memory, even talking about it the next day is not as impactful as changing the behaviour on the spot.

Anyway, thats her son and none of my business. I just pray hard that YC turn out right =)

Choosing a Blogskin

I started with doing a blog for my darling son and while looking for a new blogskin for him, I decided to start my own blog!! Why? Cos most of the blogskin are simply too GIRL heehee (anyway my son's blogskin is still the same boring blogger's blogskin cos I cant find one that allow me to show off so many photos at one go!!) and also I find that there are some thoughts of mine that are too adult-ish to be posted on his blog. Also, I need my own identity and build my own pool of 'fan' hahahahahaha

Ok so I started to shop for my own blogskin instead:

Criteria
1. Must be a girly colour ~ cos my son cant use mar! then I use lor!
2. Must not be too kiddish ~ Me is a Mummy liao lor ... dun wan to be seem as acting cute hahaha imagine I still choose hello kitty hiak hiak
3. Column must have enough space to post photos and videos ~ wow some are so narrow that I think can only post msg lor

Guess what ~ it took me 1 whole day before deciding on this!

1. Purple is girlish hor ...
2. Fairy Godmother ~ oso a mummy position
3. Yar can post video

Lastly, its v positive and funcky like ME!! Hiak hiak

Ok hope that you all will enjoy my blog as much as my son's one!! And may all your wishes come true!! I can be your fairy godma if you want!!
